My name is Whitney Goins and I am the librarian this year at Jellico Elementary School. I finished my master's degree in library science at Middle Tennessee State University in August just prior to accepting this position. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Tennessee Tech University.

 

    I have big plans for the library over this school year and in the school years to come. The first step in this is automating the library over the course of this school year. This process has started and I hope to have the first part completed by the end of Christmas break and the entire library done by the start of next school year. 

 

      In this process I am loving getting to know each child and helping them reach their full potential.
